In The Shop - Shop Spotlight: The Ultimate Warm Weather SWATCH Watches
After what has arguably been the longest "winter" or period of hibernation any of us have ever experienced, it feels like we're gearing up for the biggest summer of our lives. As warm weather rolls in, it can't help but elicit that feeling of being a kid in school, counting down the days 'til summer vacation. And when you're feeling nostalgic, there's no better watch than SWATCH – this Swiss brand is all about keeping the glory days of yesteryear alive and having fun while doing so.
You might remember our collaboration with SWATCH from last summer , which helped us inaugurate the season. So, in order to get you in that summer spirit once again, we have seven new SWATCH models available in the Shop that will have you one step closer to your next vacation. Whether you need that versatile model for everyday wear, you're feeling connected to nature and want to be a little more eco-conscious, or you just want to get playful, there's a SWATCH for you.

For Everyday Wear
If you need that perfectly versatile, no-brainer watch to throw on every day, we have two handsome options from SWATCH's SISTEM51 Petite Seconde line. Introduced at the beginning of 2020, the SISTEM51 Petite Seconde is the first serious expansion of the SISTEM51 from a mechanical perspective. While the modification from a central seconds hand to a small seconds display at six o'clock might seem minimal, it required adjusting the SISTEM51's internal architecture without changing the movement diameter.
Today, we welcome two new additions from this collection. The Orange En Cage draws inspiration from classic sport watch design elements with an all-stainless steel build from the case to the bracelet along with a black dial and a sporty pop of orange in the signature small seconds register, all for $235. Alternatively, the Unavoidable offers a dressier and more refined approach for a bit less, at $215. It features an all-brushed stainless steel case and black leather strap with the focus of the dial remaining on the beautifully integrated "petite seconds" window at six o'clock. In addition, both models have a date window conveniently tucked at the traditional three o'clock position. The result is a casual-cool look that could easily be dressed up or down to work with any ensemble.
For An Eco-Friendly Approach
SWATCH, since its early days, has been closely associated with the use of plastic in its watch production. For the Bio-reloaded collection, SWATCH has reimagined its signature material by developing a new type of plastic that mimics its conventional look and feel but is entirely bio-sourced, primarily from the seeds of castor plants.
The Bio-reloaded collection began with the 1983 , a series of several models with a vintage aesthetic and SWATCH's signature bold colors. Today, the brand has expanded the line to include a wide array of models, like the Rinse Repeat. Unlike the original 1983 in which SWATCH replaced every plastic component with bio-sourced materials, the Rinse Repeat offers a hybrid build featuring an innovative bio-sourced plastic strap coupled with a more traditional plastic case. The result is a balance of eco-friendly elements and classic SWATCH design language blended to create a fun and functional watch, complete with a day/date indicator. Depending on your personal style, we have the Rinse Repeat in two neutral colorways, either navy or black, for just $70 each.
For A Pop Of Color
SWATCH has long built a reputation for its bright colors and bold designs that instantly command attention on the wrist while always maintaining a playful vibe. This philosophy is what's made SWATCH such a collectible brand that resonates with people of all ages. Last but certainly not least in today's SWATCH round-up, we have three watches that fully embody the spirit of the brand.
The Blurry Blue features a vibrant all-blue construction for a daring monochromatic look. However, this model gets a unique twist with a translucent dial that gives a "blurred" view of the movement within. Here, you see glimmers of white that complement the hour markers and hands along with subtle pops of orange. This distinctive design adds an undeniable layer of dimension to an otherwise homogeneous aesthetic resulting in the one-of-a-kind and attainable watch you expect to get from SWATCH, for only $75.
In addition, there's the Home Stripe Home and Striped Waves. Both of these watches showcase a set of horizontal stripes along the silicone bracelet, in a rainbow of color on the Home Stripe Home and various shades of blue on the Striped Waves. The color palette and design of each of these watches immediately brings to mind a vibrant picnic blanket or beach umbrella – these are arguably the ultimate warm-weather watches. With their lightweight design, exuberant wrist presence, and accessible price point – $70 for the Striped Waves, and $80 for the Home Stripe Home – you couldn't ask for a better summer companion.
